Family Fun Spot 142 Conchester Hwy #A, Aston, PA. An advertisment announcing a band to play for the Splash Dance Party. Uh oh, that reminded me of another Pennslyvania dance party that has almost similar name but it was filmed cross the river from Philadelphia in Camden, New Jersey that was aired on USA network in late 1980s. Ohhh, I loved that show because.. haha, never mind! No, I was not intersted in Kelly Ripa. Some one else! Umm.. this is my website so I can say her, name. Haha. Lillian! There was an entertainment center including a roller rink called Family Fun Spot which was on 142 Conchester Highway #A, Aston, Pennsylvania. Charles Grabe was the owner of the rink and entertainment center. It was operational before 1990s but closed in 2010s because of the rink lists I have from 1990s and the posts they made in 2010s on Facebook.
They are out of business and a business is located there. What you can see on Google Map aerial view showed the former go-kart track still there.
The Interior.
It was very simple ice rink appearance although they had artifical ice which was actually Roller Court and they had two rinks actually. One full size NHL and the other smaller.. I would call that high school hockey rink.
They would have several activities on the floor as well for several of their activities/sports.
The walls were exposed steel sheets and Steel or Iron trusses sketical wall and trusses.
The Exterior.
It was a very simple Gabled roofed Free-Span Steel Trusses Steel - Walled Warehouse - like Building.
