Google Map. The replacement building for the former The Rockin' Rollerena/Jellybeans. That was a Japanese restaurant which also permanently closed as well.
Excerpt from Official Gazette Book of Patents... It showed a record of a patent and Trademark for the name. You can see that on the jar below (courtesy of SE Skate).
The Rockin' Rollerena on Roswell Road ® 3861 Roswell Road NE, Atlanta, GA
Jellybeans Roller Rink 3861 Roswell Road NE, Atlanta, GA
Jellybeans Roller Rink 3861 Roswell Road NE, Atlanta, GA
The Rockin' Rollerena on Roswell Road was located at 3833 Roswell Road NE in Atlanta, Georgia. This rink was well known and was managed by Jellibeans, Inc. In fact, the full name was trademarked, The Rockin' Rollerena on Roswell Road was around in 1980 to 1988. I am not sure if that is true because it may have referred to the trademark name. Jellibeans is the same company that might have owned Jelly Beans (or Jellibeans Skating Rink).
Well, it said it was open on June 12, 1980 and closed on Jul 22, 1988. It was not in business that long.
UPDATE! --
One problem, Jellybeans was actually the same as The Rockin' Rollerena as you can see in the photograph and in Bizapedia. It was under that corporate management name. Then name changed according to JD in his email today (March 7, 2021).
I received an email from JD stating this--
Here’s a yahoo answers page where you can see the confusion and the various memories. The OP found the Roswell Road location in legal documents but was confused about references to the Ben Hill area. The reason is that the Roswell Jellybeans location shut down, and Greenbriar was renamed as Jellybeans. [What was the reason?]
YAHOO! Answers.
People mention the original Jellybeans being where Golden Buddha restaurant is now at 3861 Roswell Road.
Here’s someone on Facebook with memories and proof of the Roswell Road Jellybeans location: SE Skate - Jellybeans was the Rockin' Rollerena on Roswell... | Facebook. Thomas Smith comments and says he worked security there in 1980-1. This is consistent with the fact that Greenbriar was still called Greenbriar at that time and had not been renamed Jellybeans yet.
S.E. Skates on Facebook described this as I quote them--
Jellybeans was the Rockin' Rollerena on Roswell Rd. here in Atlanta, GA. Their radio theme song was so popular that it became one of the more requested songs on Atlanta radio stations. People actually called up the stations and asked them to play a commercial.
When they first opened, the person that won the races would win one of these jars filled with Jellybeans. Later, they gave away shirts to the winner. As time passed, and the rink became poorly managed, they would give away a coke. The last time I went, I didn't get a thing for winning, and they soon closed. For a while, it was the place to be in Buckhead (that's the fancy part of Atlanta with the big houses).
It appeared the building was demolished and rebuilt according to that website, Realty Trac. It became an Asian Restaurant (2 names).
The latest restaurant is permanently closed. It was sold in September 23, 2020 (likely due to COVID). Sold for expensive 5.6 Million Dollars! Way expensive! Realty Trac reported it.
And that Registered Trademark? It was expired in 1988 because they did not renew it.
