Skate North 5621 Meredith Dr., Des Moines, IA. Very artistic appearance. Very 1980s look in 2010s. The sign up front is bit confusing. Not just because the photo was a blur, it was like 4 different things on that sign! This appearance reminded me of MacKenzie-Childs Pottery company from the Finger Lakes Region. The architecture is quite a Skate Country of AZ design. Source: Google. 2007.

Skate North 5621 Meredith Dr., Des Moines, IA. Very artistic appearance. Very 1980s look in 2010s. The Coca-Cola sign sporting in black! The sign was a major improvement than the 2007 version above. Just the soda and the rink name. Unfortunately, that sign had no sign on it. Just light boxes. This mural appearance reminded me of MacKenzie-Childs Pottery company from the Finger Lakes Region in Upstate NY. Source: Google. 2013.

Skate North 5621 Meredith Dr., Des Moines, IA. Very clean modern look. I love this modern clean look. Very professional and Minimalist in color design. Even the Coca-Cola sign sporting in Black! Toward the Greying of America look. Source: Google. 2017.

The series of rinks at this location was and to say quite interesting. Originally it was Skate Country. I need to find out of this was part of the Skate Country of Arizona or was this a "spin-off"/copycat version of Skate-Country. I will find out.
But Incrediroll Skating and Arcade was running for a time however, according to the current owner and son of John and Ramona Muse, the operator of the tornado damaged Ames Skateland in Ames, Iowa, said it was Skate Country first, then Skate North, then in 2019, Dante and Romina Muse bought the rink from his parents. Dante renamed the current rink as Skateland which is still in operational. He named it after his beloved parents who originally operated the Ames Skateland in Ames at the time up to the horrible tornado of May 15, 1968. Apparently according to Google Map, both name the Incrediroll Skating and Arcade was running same time as Skate North.
I will figure out when the Muses purchased Skate Country because there are no information on the net however, I will ask the Muses when. And if they know a bit about that rink (I meant Skate Country).
UPDATE! --
I receieved an email today from someone with connection to the Muse Family. This was one of few rinks they owned. The other were Skateland in Memphis, Skate West, Skate North, and Skate South. And Skateland (Summer) in Memphis, TN.
The children inherited the rink from the founders who were their parents. John and Ramona Muses.
Rink Time said that Skate North Incrediroll was founded in 2000. Needs vertification.
The Interior.
I have no idea what the appearance was like under Skate Country and Skate North. However, the inheritance showed very clear between Skate North and current Skateland. The wall has been repainted clearly for the Skateland. It has Pitch Black bottom with Lime Green and Eggshell White walls. The Black and Green are flowing as if it is an ocean wave all around the rink. Beautiful art work but I wish it was just a tiny bit less Black.
The floor originally was Urethane coated Concrete but under Skate Country, they had Roller Court
The Exterior.
This architecture screams a Skate Country design. This rink was part of original official Skate Country rinks company. Wendell Lockhard design on this building. It was a print copy of the blueprint drawings for this building.
The original appearance for Skate Country is unknown. Perhaps it was that Tudor appearance and with Brick veneer up front within the extension of the building.
However, of course, the Muses changed the appearance into I do not know what in 1970s but in around 2000s, they had unique MacKenzie-Childs (Pottery company) appearance in colored instead of Black and White checkered. They had a Pink Motiff and Off-Purple Ribbon-like across front-of-road side and I am sure also the front side that is facing parking lot as seen in the photo.
The Diamond shaped checkers splash all over exterior wall. This was very refreshing concept for a rink to be more Circus-isque.
However, Dante Muse changed it all back to plain. Plain appearance is making comeback for 2020s. Black trim on top where the original sign was and new sign with the famous soda maker pre-fixed before the name of the rink. It has futuristic font name. The walls including the bricks (OH NO! They painted the bricks!) Tan color. They also have Red trim on top where the extension of the building is. Cleaner? Yes, and nicer too. But I love those natural exposed Red Bricks. They could have kept that naturally because it does go together with that trim and the rest of the building.
