Skate-N-Place 2801 N. Main St, Roswell, NM
Skate-N-Place was located at 2801 North Main Street, Roswell, New Mexico but I do not have information about the rink itself. Just the location though.
It was in a shopping plaza that was built in 1964 and was renovated in 1998. The renovation on Loop Net was really about the addition to the rear so that another retail can be added.
They may have expanded in 1998 then. It is a 93,000 Square Feet plaza. I see several tenants however, one of them was Skate-N-Place. I do not know which location in the plaza but likely it was
Anyone know what site at the Wilshire Center shopping plaza the rink was? Loop Net did not completely give details of each slot. There is a kidney medical center and that might be large space. Could have been that or could have been where Aarons Furniture rental store or the Big 5 sporting store. The latter two are 11,000 Square Feet or larger. You say it was Family Dollar? No, its 8,000 Square Feet. That is small! Please see this PDF version to get more details.
I cannot load photos because I do not know exactly where. But generally, it is on here. As whole.
This was a sister rink to Skate-N-Place Clovis in Clovis, New Mexico.
Oh well, maybe the UFOs zapped the rink into thin air! Poof! Whhhooowhhoooowhoooohoooo Haha. Sorry. Its a UFO joke because this rink was in Roswell, the infamous home of the UFO crash of July 4, 1947.

The Exterior.
Since I do not know where it was but it was in the plaza with at least a dozen or so tenants. The question is which part of the plaza? The end of the plaza where Big 5 Sporting or somewhere in the middle, the Aaron's? From what I see in the air, it does look like where the Family Dollar is now located along with the medical center.
