New Penn Roller Skating Rink 5200 Penn Ave., Bloomfield, Pennsylvania. This building appears to be quite old. You can tell by the design of exterior and the doors. It does look like a grocery store at one time. It may have been. Then a roller rink then this one taken in 2007 by Google Maps showing Service, a repair company. Photo courtesy of Google Maps.
New Penn Roller Skating Rink 5200 Penn Ave., Bloomfield, Pennsylvania. After that, it became Schaedler Yesco. Clearly the sign explained what this business was all about. It was short lived at that location. Now, both of those businesses above and the rink and perhaps grocery store was set for decades on this side of the building. See below that it was relocated to the other side. Courtesy of Google Maps. Taken in 2011.
New Penn Roller Skating Rink 5200 Penn Ave., Bloomfield, Pennsylvania. Now you can see the relocation of the front to the back and the front in the past were expanded over the parking lot. See in photo above this person walking with a cart sort of in middle of the road! Note it had the trendy look of standard colors and Googie Architecture with slant sign wall. This was Bottom Dollar Food, a grocery store. This is quite interesting name. It was a food discount store similar to Aldi, Save A Lot, etc. Photo courtesy of Google Maps, 2014.
New Penn Roller Skating Rink 5200 Penn Ave., Bloomfield, Pennsylvania. As seen today as Aldi. They changed the sign wall to Minimalist Architecture of 2010s-2020s look. This look is vastly different than their trademarked architecture look of Aldi. But because of the location and the street, they could not set it closer to the corner and because already the previous grocery store had its design this way. So Aldi was just rebranding its appearance. Common practice in late 2010s and 2020s. Photo Courtesy of Loop Net 2022.

New Penn Roller Skating Rink was a roller rink that was on 5200 Penn Avenue, Bloomfield, Pennsylvania. This rink was operational likely way before what it appears now an Aldi. Before Aldi was a grocery store called Bottom Dollar Food. Before that, Schaedler Yesco. An electronic parts store. Google Maps only goes back to 2006 at most places so it would be harder to find out further. The further back, the harder information to find out. I will need your help. Before Schaedler Yesco it was Service. That was the name on the sign. This is why I need your help. So, likely the rink was operational in 20th Century before 2000s.
Was this a sister rink? I have on the list for a 2210 High Tech Road, Bellefonte, Pennsylvania from a news media. And confirmed on Facebook but why the 5200 Penn Avenue, Bloomfield, Pennsylvania was listed? Good question. That is why I said it could be a small chain of 2 rinks. Check that page here- Penn Skate

Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
