Magic River Skateland was located at 1408 Montour Boulevard, Danville, Pennsylvania. They no longer around. It is currently a kitchen cabinet showroom and a fitness gym.
I could not get much information however, I have is they closed sometimes before or in 2008 because of an article about the conversion to a duplex for businesses.
Yelp only reported that it is closed.
Any information would be appreciated.
Likely this rink had three sister rinks. One in Milton, another in Lock Haven (later known as Skate Haven) and the third was in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania brining the total to 4 rinks under this name banner.
The Interior.
N/A.
The Exterior.
It appeared to be a classic 1960s/70s Free-Span Steel Trusses Steel - Walled Warehouse - like Building with Gabled roof. It was roughly a yellow colored paint on the exterior wall. The photo was not good on Pinterest but only one in existence when the rink was just closed when it was taken in 27 April 2004.
Google Map does not go further back then 2007 for most areas. Any photos of the rink are most appreciated.
The front door was at a front left corner of the building with canopy enough room just walking under, not for cars. And that area was Red Bricks. It still there under new ownership and businesses.
The building design is quite similar design seen for the former Skate Haven in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. In fact, similar color and bricks are right by the front door but slightly different layout.
Today it appears to be two sided businesses still in exist. No longer cabinetry store. Both are fitness and health.

Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
