Mentor Skateland 5615 Andrews Rd., Mentor-On-The-Lake, OH. When not in session, this is what the rink is like. It has two rows of columns/posts/supports. I believe the trusses are wood. This is why they have those supports. Source: Joy's Roller Rink.

Before the current Joy's Roller Rink, there were M-Its Roller Rink and Mentor Skateland on 5615 Andrews Rd in Mentor-On-The-Lake, Ohio.
However, the rink itself was first opened in 1908! I do not know what else the names were throughout the decades leading up to M-Its Roller Rink and the Mentor Skateland. According to Yellow Pages, it said Mentor Skateland was in business for 33 years. This means 1988. Anyone know more about it? Please let me know.
As for the Walton's Roller Rink, it was owned, operated by Howard F. Walton From 24 August 1947 to 15 January 1982.
Lou and Lori were the owner of Mentor Skateland but the new family bought the former Mentor Skateland and turn into Joy's Roller Rink. (Yelp) It is the Mason Family, a local family that bought the rink and operated ever snice. The current owner's first name is Joy, the same as the rink's name. It was named after her first name. It is a woman-owned operations.
The Interior.
When it was Hofman Roller Rink, it was Non-Painted Maple hardwood floor with some kind of protection. I do not know what the layout was. One photo was not enough to figure that out. It was rather low ceiling though. It had columns support in middle of the rink. All wood so likely had wood trusses.
There were a lot of windows to shine inside.
Since then, it is a low-ceiling Column-supported non-painted Maple hardwood floor. The columns are in 2 rows. It is a small rink in a house-like building.
The Exterior.
It is a low-ceiling Column-supported Wood Trusses house-like building. Originally, it did have a lot of windows as seen in the Hofman Roller Rink photograph. At some point, they covered up.
It is Free-Span Steel Trusses Wood - Walled House - like Building with Intersection/overlaid Hip Gabled Roof.

Pinterest, - Showed Hofman Roller Rink, not Walton's as it was stated by the poster on there when she err the name. Walton's was part of the M-its a Roller Rink/Mentor Skateland/Joy's rink. However, the original poster was correct but wrong name because it was after Hofman that it became Walton's.
