Top left: 2016 sign left with just the gator, the mascot of Gautier Roll-A-Rama. Top right, in 2013. New sign in some material covering up the old. rows of pictures was taken in 2008, photo enchanted by Dead-Rinks followed by 2013 and 2016.
Only known interior including the rink floor for Gautier Roll-A-Rama rink. Courtesy of Loop Net.
The entire set of photos when it was Duo Dancing Event Center, a dancing hall. That was quite extreme rare a roller rink get converted into a dancing hall. Usually it was other way around in 20th Century. Second of all, most rinks today when folded, they are converted to churches, or warehouse or storages. Mainly those three most popular conversions in 21st Century or at least since 1980s.
Only advertisement or announcement ever on their Facebook page. Courtesy of Gautier Roll-A-Rama.

Gautier Roll-A-Rama was on 3100 Ladnier Road in Gautier, Mississippi. It was established in 1974. But it appeared to be closed around 2012 according to Facebook. Google Map even showed it was up for sale IN 2008! I think it was up for sale for a while considering that was the Great Recession at the time It took a while to be sold and looks like it was a long 4 years to be sold. It became an event center called Duo Dancing Event Center.
Now that center has permanently closed too. It did appear that they did have roller skating at the Duo Dancing Event Center but only one photo showed that about 5 skaters were standing together with skates and skates rentals behind them in the Duo Dancing Event Center's Google Images. It was mostly just dancing. They could have done figure skating and couple skating at the center but apparently they did not do that. They should have. Because that is a dying sport.
Gautier Roll-A-Rama had a mascot which was a skating alligator. He reminded me of Skate Station mascot that are used at a series of franchises of Skate Station rinks found mostly in Southeast US which is still operational. A few Skate Station folded though like this Skate Station in Maryland. There are a few Skate Stations on Dead-Rinks though. Skate Station today is actually called, Skate Station Funworks now.
The Interior.
Non-paint partial Polyurethane coated Fan layout Maple wood floor. Wall to wall to wall with high step up off of the rink to the front part where there is a snack bar, eating area. Pretty much changed that after the rink closed and the dance studio opened up with wow! They did include beautiful couches on the corner of the rink by where eating area was. Nice! It would be hard to get up with skates on! Haha.
They covered the walls with backdrop curtains usually made for stage. They even have one that is painted as a stage backdrop appearance of a grand staircase.
The Exterior.
Free-Span Steel Truss Steel-Walled Warehouse - like Building with Gable roof. Originally, it was a type of Orange with Yellow stripes vertically on the building. Very circus like 1970s style. Apparently! Because it was built in 1974. The dance hall owner had it painted in a different hue of Yellow and Blue trims. Must be the new owner liked yellow colors so it was only thing inherited from the rink into the dance hall other than the rink floor.
