Skate Station 7950 Three Notch Road, Lexington Park, MD. I do not have photo of exterior. This photo on bottom is the current location of the former Skate Station. Interesting, it is now called Office Station. Also note the name of business, The Enterprise. No, its not the USS Starship Enterprise. Haha. Source: Skate Station Facebook fan page.

Skate Station is not a station like you go to a train station. Ha. Joking. Skate Station was a common name just like Skateland or Skate World or even Skate Country around the United States. This one was in Lexington Park, Maryland.
This rink was at 7950 Three Notch Road and I could not determinate which place it was on Google Map because it pinpointed in middle of the road! Ha. But a clue with this photo that showed it is now an Office Station! Yes, named after the former Skate Station. Clever! I attempted to find it on Google Map. However, they are all 5 digit-numbers, not four. So, I do not know where the rink was. Anyone?
There is no exterior photo of the rink itself without people. It had unique graphics on the wall. It was a rainbow wave ran wall to wall to wall. It was like it was floating in the air and it gave peaceful psychological aspect for skaters to feel like they are flying. They had limited mirrors on the ceiling and would use as reflexion for their lights and diamond ball to sparkle more. This was a rare sight to see it was lay upon the ceiling rather than on the walls or the valance around the rink. It was a unique rink operating at the time. I have no exterior to describe.
The floor was, of course, Maple. It had a lot of lines though. And the part I see in one of the photos (not shown above due to people facing the camera), it was so shining like a scotch tape taped down to hold black lines and the rest of the floor was not shining at all. No polish. Therefore, it was bit odd.
But a lot of photos of interior, shirts, tag, etc. But no exterior!?
UPDATE! 04 July 2022.
I received an email today, yes, July 4th! Here is what the owners had to say--
My name is Eva [Redacted for privacy] my parents Tom and Janice Gilliland. [We were] the managers of the Skate Station from the time I was 12 on up. The floor was beautiful we had a skate party and all of the regulars and employees stayed up for 2 days doing the floor ourselves. We were like a big family as matter of fact majority of the people on my Facebook are the ones I grew up with in Maryland at the Skate Station. I was there everyday and every night my teenage years I miss it so very much I can picture it in my head it was booming with people always my dad taught speed and artistic [skating] as well and my mother also besides managing she also was public relations for Skate Station. I think it’s great what your doing by the way .
Sincerely, Eva [redacted]

Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
