Champ's Valley Rollerdrome Valley Station, Louisville, KY. One of the first ones that is not a tent. This was a simple design but unique graphic design although the word, "Valley" was way difficult to read because of the way the word was written out. Looked like "Vaeeey." Source: Pinterest.

Champ's Valley Rollerdrome Valley Station, Louisville, KY
This is another chain roller skating rink that Armand Champa and his son Joe operated. One of the first building other than the tent Armand began. This being Champ's Valley Rollerdrome in Valley Station, Louisville, Kentucky as the first bought and turned into a rink. This was in 1960 before they expanded more locations in 1974 in Louisville and Lexington.
This was only rink till 1974. 14 years. The 1974 expansion, they had those stone wall veneer look at many of their facility. This is supposed to be the second profile for you to read after the tent set up they had. Read that one first here.
Clearly this rink was a stepping stone from the original--the tent rink and the upcoming of the 1970s rinks they owned.
They expanded as roller skating was experiencing in popularity in the 1970s. See all other Champ's profiles on the list.
