Blue Ridge Skating Rink 2 Route 11 (Main Street), New Milford, PA. Photo taken in 2009. You can see the rink floor clearly in lighter concrete part while the darker part perhaps was off rink, I am not sure. There was a for sale sign posted in 2008 and 2009. Apparently for sale after it was demolished. For some reason I do not know. Source: Google.
Blue Ridge Skating Rink 2 Route 11 (Main Street), New Milford, PA
Just Route 11 that connects between New York State and around Kentucky. This rink was in New Milford, PA who was operated by Charles "Chuck" E. Crandall of Binghamton, NY. He was the same owner of Rollarena Skating Rink in Endwell, for fourteen years, 1972 to 1984. Unfortunately, I could not go on much more because of lack of information on this roller rink. Just only the connection between the two rinks was same man.
There are NO further information! Please by all means submit photos, what the place is like, interior and exterior please! Photos of both.
When it was first opened and closed. Why closed. It was demolished according to the person who emailed me on 17 July 2021. I was not clearly understood what he said that it was demolished. But the Blue Ridge Motel lives on. That is what he said. The name is similar to the motel. It does look pretty good for an interstate length route. Route 11.
I think he meant the building cross the street which is now a landscaping company there. I
