Barberton Rollercade 92 31st St NW, Barberton, OH. This was taken just before they were gone. Months before they were sold in April 2012. Photo taken in June 2011. YOu noticed quite a bit of pine trees and bushes in the front? That was because it was Critter Woods Adventure Golf, a miniature golf course. The background to the right was where the rink was. I love the 1980s-1990s colors diamonds on the wall and of course, you cannot see good is Roo. Next photo helps you with that. The miniature golf course appeared to be closed at least 10 years before this was taken. Source: Google, photo remastered by Dead-Rinks. (Huge telephone pole so close in photo so it was digitally erased! It was poled in middle of the road to the parking lot.)
Barberton Rollercade 92 31st St NW, Barberton, OH. You can see up close in this photo to see Roo on the wall. I love the colorful 1980s-1990s trendy colors of its time on the walls, diamonds, etc. All pastel colors. Source: Loop Net.

Barberton Rollercade along with Rollercade Family Fun Center and Rollercade II (2) Skating Center were held at 92 31st Street North West, Barberton, Ohio. It was one and the same but name changes. I believe that the original one was open likely the Akron Rollercade which later became GSFE Cade was the original. This was the second Rollercade this company operated. They operated a few Rollercades. I believed they operated six in total. When they opened more location, they may have changed name to Rollercade Family Fun Center or Barberton Rollercade or even Rollercade Barberton because some Rollercade locations had the name of the rink prefix before the town name such as Rollercade Akron, Rollercade Toledo, etc.
Critter Woods Adventure Golf was part of the Rollercade Family Fun Center as a miniature golf course.
Barberton Band Booster Club Bingo Hall was also housed in Rollercade on a couple of evenings during the week while skating was on weekends. BINGO! This was a good way to boost their financial needs for both. The band and the rink. Unfortunately, the rink lost money, likely. The miniature golf course was already gone in the 2008 and 2011 photographs from Google Maps. Sad. If you are local and you want to donate for the band, please check out Barberton school district and they will help you direct to the right people that can collect funds for the band.
Well, this one was opened in 1976 (Manta) and they closed in April 2012 because they sold it to a construction company. They owns the property now. Oh no.. the floor! I know how you all feel.
It is now a environmental construction company. They specialize in clean up, removal of beaver dams, make paths, drainage, things like that. Not a landscape company and not a home construction. It is a in-between/hybrid kind of company. Think of this... a private version of the US Army Corps of Engineers.

The Exterior.
It was interesting exterior not just the building but the landscape as well. The photos showed pretty tired looking even on a nice June day. That is because it is an overgrown property that was a miniature golf course at the time in front yard between the road and the building which is pretty far back. Of course, I love the time capture for the building that was still struck in the late 1980s to early 1990s with pastel colors of White background, Light Blue, Pastel Pink, Pastel Purple, etc. Those were popular colors of its time thanks to the trend setter Miami Vice with Miami Deco Blue and Miami Deco Pink. Roo was shown on front wall exterior saying, "Welcome to" but no other words after that. I believe it is hidden down below the word, "Rollercade" that is unseen in both photos shown above. Only the sign. Of course, the sign had both Rollercade and the booster club's bingo listed both. I believe they had both venues at the same time.
