The Wheel Thing Skate Center was a rink on 1719 Metropolitan Avenue, Leavenworth, Kansas.
It began in 1987 and closed for good in 2015.
It was operated by Ron and Kay Beaman.
The Interior.
The interior looked so white. Very much so Chromatic with one color. White with little black here and there. Reminded me of a Skateland in the same state that has the same whiteness.
It had two sets of starburst lights with a Diamond ball each. Is that right they had video games right by the floor? Does not look that safe.
The Exterior.
Free-Span Steel Truss Cinderblock-Walled Warehouse - like Building with Gable roof. You would have to take a few step up the stairs to enter the place since it is on an uphill from the parking lot. It had Light Gray with Green Stripes wrapped around the building. The current owner kept that same color for their center for people with Autism.
