Both courtesy of GM. Top is U.S. On Wheels (also known as United Skates on Wheels) with more vibrant colors and nice landscape up front. Taken in 2011 by GM. As for the 2016 version, very plain and fading Fading Red Hip roof. Very plain face toward road--no landscaping! I am not an environmentalist or a Liberal but we sure need trees! It was nicer under U.S. On Wheels than the new one. Yuck! My recommendations is that they replant exactly the way it was and add more on their front between corner and the door. It would look nice!

U.S. On Wheels was one of the two rinks. The other was in Westminister however, I could not get any information on that location. But I do have a few for the Arvada location.
Arlene Lehman who was the owner and operator of this rink. Perhaps she did owned the other location as well. Arlene opened this rink in 1974. It was closed around 2010s. Likely in 2014 or 15.
That is all I could find out. Anyone has more information? Please let me know! Thank you! Email me at [email protected]!
The building was sold on August 26, 1997 but the rink remained till around 2015 and it became Skate City franchise.
The Interior.
I see it has White floor on the rink but I could not tell if it is roller court or wood or even concrete. I have no idea but the layout on the floor showed roller hockey style. It is carpeted around the rink.
The Exterior.
It was a Flat Hip roof warehouse like building with free span steel truss building. It is on a very small uphill from the road that drivers have to drive up and park there. There is a donation bin right there. Four Square website seemly have a fan focused on that bin. I do not know why.
Originally has Deep Red Hip roof with Red, White, and Blue walls. Those are Americana colors and that is similar to Skate City would do. Skate City kept the Red Hip roof color but painted over to remove the Blue from the wall and the other red strip too. They painted all Snow White color but they painted Sky Blue vertical strips on structural strips on the building. They apparently did not change as much at all.
