United Skates of America 6677 Pearl Rd., Cleveland, OH. Top photo showed it was taken in 1970. I can see the roof would be needing repairs already even it was just a few short years old! No rink building in 1962. So that dates to around 5 years of age at the time that was taken. Noticed a lot of cars? Yes, Got to be on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon or early evening. Again you can see a lot of cars in 1982 photo.. the peak just happened before this photo happened because of the crowd. Both photo sources: USGS.

United Skates of America 6677 Pearl Rd., Cleveland, OH. Left is shown taken in 1994. Slightly fewer cars.. It was the In-Line Skate Craze of early 1990s. But in Year 2000 seen on the right, maybe mid-week unless it was on a weekend.. closed, out of business. Both Sources: USGS.
United Skates of America 6677 Pearl Rd., Cleveland, OH. The left photo showed it was taken in year 2002, after it was demolished leaving the footprint of the foundation of the former rink and the parking lot. But on the right, nature is taking over. They cleaned up by removing the concrete and the asphalt out to turn it back to nature again as seen in year 2021. There are two most famous fast food chains seen on Google. Burger King on the right with the pin and the left on Google is Arby's which took over the parking lot area of the former rink. Sources: Left is USGS. Right is Google.
United Skates of America 6677 Pearl Rd., Cleveland, OH. The land today all empty. The sign post is still standing though but no name. Unseen on the right is Arby's. Sources: Google. 2020.
United Skates of America 6677 Pearl Rd., Cleveland, OH
United Skates of America 6677 Pearl Road, Cleveland, Ohio. That was one of the franchised United Skates of America that was operated at this location from around Mid to Late 1960s to year or 2001. Roughly thanks to USGS. However, I do not know exact dates of operational as I could not find on the net. United Skates of America is one of harder companies to find out as they like to completely wipe off any historical background.
Only I have is the USGS-- The United States Geographical Society. A US Government agency that records al the lands for any geographical changes such as erosion, etc.
You will see those photos again carefully to see the popularity of skating as the USGS captured at the correct time. It must be during a Saturday or a Sunday session in the afternoon or even early evening. For instance the 1970 photo showed the shadow on the North and West side of the building it was because of sun setting around 3 to 6 pm as I can see that during summer time. They usually map them during summer.
It showed a large almost exact square shaped building.
Google search engine said they are permanently closed on first page of search. I only found a few sites that list the rink as part of their business directories. But none said they are closed.
Anyone knows about this rink and when they actually opened and closed. Why they closed?
The building was demolished sometimes after 2000 because USGS showed 2002 without the rink building. All cleaned up and gone. Just the concrete foundation was left there. Now it is all grass grown.
The address is now Arby's Roast Beef fast food restaurant. The rink building was quite further back.
The Interior.
N/A.
The Exterior.
The building was clearly was a Flat Roof Free-Span Steel Trusses Cinderblocks - Walled Warehouse - like Building. I am sure it was late 1960s style architecture because of the trend at the time and the trend at the time also was a flat roof building. The appearance was like any other stores.. like a grocery store, a free-standing department store, etc at the time. But I need to see that look.
