This rink, Tulsa Skating Center was at 10777 South Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma. it ran from c. 1995 to Sunday evening May 30, 2004.
It used to be a happening place which was operated by Jim and Harlene Seamon with the manger, Tracy Gibson all through the years when they were operating from around 1995. There is an article did not say specific date of opening so It was around 1995.
It only lasted nearly a year.
Tulsa Skating Center was very busy and crowded but suddenly, a drop off and the employees and owners and managers do not know why the number of skaters go down. So, the owners announced retirement and got an offer that they could not refuse. So, now it is an office and retail shopping center.
Currently the entire plaza is up for lease according to Loop Net on 07 June 2021.
The Interior.
It had 26,617 Square Feet which made this rink the largest in Oklahoma. Unfortunately, with the closure, I do not know which rink is the current largest. I do not know what it was like before the total renovation into a very stylish plaza.
