Thrills on Wheels 2920 Duss Avenue, Ambridge, PA
Thrills on Wheels 2920 Duss Avenue, Ambridge, Pennsylvania was operational for a time. It was registered on Wednesday, 9 March 1977. They closed sometime in Spring 1984 because of someone who went to this rink and worked with told me they closed that time before she graduated from college.
I found a new operator who registered on 18 March 1985 and it was Charles R. Hurd who operated the rink till he closed some time ago I do not know when.
The Collellas owned and operated the rink originally until they were forced to close (sounds like) and sold in the following year.
The company's filing status is listed as Active and its File Number is 860915.
The company has 1 contact on record. The contact is Charles R Hurd.
now as Design Dynamics, sign making co.

UPDATE! -- 04 August 2023.
I received an email from C. E. and I have some information that about this rink.
I was there for skating and fun and used to hang out with the DJ. I was young but an electronics expert and I would help him in the booth sometimes. Under his tutelage I learned how mixes were performed and was introduced to many of the now classic and retro dance tracks. Rudy Collella was the main DJ at this rink and his record collection was over the top. He had several DJ setups he used to do away gigs for weddings and events.
Back in the early 80's you could rent the rink for an evening for $150 because I did it and invited my school friends. It was a crowd of more than 300 and we had a great time.
Sometime back around 82 or 83 I was there on a [S}aturday night and I have original recordings right off the mix board from that rink if you care to hear them. I have converted them to MP3 and should put them on my YT channel if you are interested.
Rudy Collella passed away a few years ago (not from the scamdemic) and was a great loss to all of us. His family still lives in Harmony. They were the original owners of the rink. I don't know how they lost it or how it was acquired by [H]urd, however it was a great loss to all of us. I know the rink was closed by the time I was 19 in college.
I graduated in 84 and I believe it was already closed in the late spring when I was graduated.
Hope your day there is good.
Let me know if the recording is of use to you.
Thank you C.E. for your information. However first of all, I am Deaf so I am unable to hear the words. However, I have a lot of fans who would love to hear! Sorry about that C.E. But you can provide me the link to your YouTube! Thank you once again.

Thank you for understanding.
Dead Rinks is now International Roller Skating Rinks History Foundation© because many former names have become new names at the same rinks that are still active and due to much confusion, We have decided that International Roller Skating Rinks History Foundation© fits better for all rinks including defunct, closed, inactive, rebooted, and rinks that are still active today. For short on this site, it is International Roller Skating Rinks History© Bear with us as we change the entire site page by page each day. Thank you for understanding.
Second of all: The contents including words and photos above on this page and/or on any pages are purely educational entertainment purposes only. I provide what information from other websites, skaters, and operators and it may end up with different results between two (or more) sources. It is not our responsible for errors we caused. All sources are shown on each page. All opinions and statements of mine are also stated and are for purely educational entertainment only.
Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former. Since we are rebooted to allow alive rinks, active rinks, we welcome those active rinks as well. It will be described.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
