Statesboro Skate-Inn 1525 Fair Road, Statesboro, GA
Statesboro Skate-Inn was a skating rink on 1525 Fair Road in Statesboro, Georgia. It was part of the Rink Management/Skate Inn family from 1980 to 1982 it was open.
From 1982 to 1992 the building was identical to Savannah Skate Inn and Griffin Skate Inn.
Same size shape and all. Monty Weatherup sold it to a Statesboro Doctor in 1982. He owned it until 1992 when it closed and was changed to a Golds Gym.
The downfall of this rink was exactly the same as Skatetime USA only difference was the College kids closed it down. The sealing fate of it was in December 1992 some guy walked in with a shotgun on New Year’s Eve shot a hole in the roof and that was it never opened again
