Google Map. Starlite/Stardust Skate Centers were spotted here before they were gone. Demolished according to a skate fan.
Courtesy of Dead-Rinks. This was taken in 2002. It is the now delmolished building on the left. The hotel still stands at the bottom of the photo. ONLY photo I could find and that has a canopy on the right side of the front of the building that faces the highway. Two entrances. One where the canopy is and that side faces the road so close and the other is just behind the hotel.

Stardust Skate Center 700 Scott Nixon Memorial Drive, Augusta, GA
Stardust Skate Center and Starlite Skate Center used to be on 700 Scott Nixon Memorial Drive, Augusta, GA. If you try to pinpoint on Google Map, you would only find the pin on the middle of the road. That is because the rink used to be on that property. From what I see, I think it may have been demolished to make room for the highway. A fan pointed out that the Department of Transportation purchased the former rink to make a new flyover for the Interstate - 20 highway. It was demolished for that reason. The rink parking lot itself was where the curved road area is now.
All I know they first opened in 1989 as Stardust Skate Center. Starlite Skate Center came before Stardust. I have no idea what it was like. I have posted on Facebook questions and for photographs.
The rink was closed and was demolished sometimes between 1990s and 2012 because Google Map only could go far back as 2012 when it did a drive-by and it showed empty land. Last time property sold was in November 2017 for 140,000 USD.
