Muskgoee Skate Center 2105 Gibson St., Muskogee, OK. This is the former Stardust Skate Arena. This aged and rusty sign was clearly shown in 2012. The mast part appeared to be pink before it faded away. I believe it was a wheel before it was entirely faded away but the words stayed well. Taken in 2012. Source: Google.
Muskgoee Skate Center 2105 Gibson St., Muskogee, OK. This is the former Stardust Skate Arena. This sign finally had a makeover with new paints after they sanded down rust and primed. This was an improvement largely shown in 2016. The mast part used to be pink is now Navy Blue. I believe it was a wheel before and proven correct after they painted this wheel in black. It is very detailed with a skate wheel. Good job!. Taken in 2016. Source: Google.
Muskgoee Skate Center 2105 Gibson St., Muskogee, OK. This is the former Stardust Skate Arena. This sign was had another makeover in just a couple of years. The mast part originally was pink before it faded away then Navy Blue then Royal Blue. I like Royal Blue better. I believe that part was supposed to be a wood stud because of the streaks on that sign is supposed to be wood grain. Yellow was added in the wheel. Much better and see better. This wins out of those three shown above. I do not have anything for Stardust Skate Arena. I believe it was a wheel before it was entirely faded away but the words stayed well. Taken in 2019. Muskgoee Skate Center 2105 Gibson St., Muskogee, OK. This is the former Stardust Skate Arena. It has been Muskgoee Skate Center since 1973. Copper/Salmon with White exterior look. The next door business.. ohhh, sounds so good, this BBQ restaurant and buffet. Great place to eat first before you can go over to Muskgoee Skate Center to burn off all that fat, salt, and sugar you ate at the restaurant. Taken in 2012. Source: Google.

Stardust Skate Arena was operating at 2105 Gibson Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma. This rink was there before it became the current operating Muskgoee Skate Center. There was another address which is a church next door to the elementary school in the same town. The other location is 201 N 54th Street, Muskogee, Oklahoma. However that was only I found in one of those big 5 lists from 1990s rinks. Was it relocated to the current location at 2105 Gibson Street? I like to know. Anyone?
Anyway, this location where it is now Muskgoee Skate Center, it was Stardust Skate Arena. I do not know when that was operating. However, Manta said for Muskgoee Skate Center, it began operating in 1990.
Rink-Time said otherwise-- in 1991.
One thing though, Manta is known to provide errors I have noticed quite often. You see, this other site, HubBiz said this rink as Muskgoee Skate Center began in 1973, the year U.S. President Nixon said we will withdraw from Vietnam, not the year Bush the Senior send us to the Persian Gulf War I.
From the age of the building, it does appear that HubBiz is more realistic correct.
That still leave us the question regarding to Stardust Skate Arena. Anyone?
The Interior.
Before they added Bumper cars, it was just a roller rink. I do not know the material but it appeared to be Concrete with paint on the floor.
The Exterior.
The building appeared old and looked like they had an add on. The original building is an Segmental Arch roof Free-Span Steel Trusses Cinderblock-Walled Warehouse - like Building. In fact, they had that fake step wall to cover their Gable roof. But you can tell with the extension of the building from that wall out from the building. It was clearly a new built extension. I do not know when they expanded the facility. It is currently all White walls but with hint of Royal Blue for a fake roof above the doors that are in a corner of the building. In 2012, it did have the popular color of 2010s-- Copper with White. Now that is rare to see such a beauty color on the building. I love Copper. Then they switched to Royal Blue. It should have been the other way around. First Royal Blue of early 2010s sounds correct then Copper and now the Graying of America. Oh well.
I love the Salmon/Copper look as well as the Royal Blue look. Both looked and looks great. Now, I am going to eat at the bbq place next door before I skate, would you join me there before we skate at the rink to burn all that off from the restaurant? Haha.
