Wheelz of Fire 7500 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA. Arcade even has a name! Fire Alley! Interesting! First time I ever heard a rink has an arcade with such name like that! The mural I would have to say a 9.5 because I felt it was bit squashed horizontally. Source: Wheelz of Fire Facebook page.

Wheelz of Fire 7500 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA. Beautiful snack bar. I love the chairs there! Really different than the typical bench dinette you have seen often in a rink or even at a fast food restaurant. Source: Wheelz of Fire Facebook page.
Wheelz of Fire 7500 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA. A new business there now. This was a beautiful roller rink floor! White paint on Concrete. The appearance appear to be 1990s look because of the colors were common at the time. Even Dance-N-Skate had those colors on the walls by the rink floor. Source: Wheelz of Fire Facebook page.
717 ARMORY 7500 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA. A new business there now. No longer the BBQ restaurant. It is an archery and gun range indoors. Source: Google.

According to a website, it said the name of the rink was Wheelz of Fire. But on a change.org petition to save the rink, it was called STAR Roller Rink. The problem with the conflicting names, we do not know why. Star Roller Rink was also called Star Rec Center. It had variation of names. But most likely it was Star Recreational Center. It was first opened in 1973 by Betty Jane Keffer. Then it became Wheelz of Fire which later went out of business in 2010.
Star ran until 2010. it had a very plain brick building on the outside as the inside... there are no photos of interior. This rink was my ex-girlfriend's favorite rink where she grew up. It was very much of a fun place she said. Unfortunately, we do not have any photos for interior for me to comment. It did look rather large from the aerial photo. It is a gable roof building.
And plenty of parking spaces. After it was closed in 2010, it is currently a restaurant cooking BBQ and cookout foods inside. According to Bizapedia, it is still active! However, the rink has long since closed.
For a time, there was a petition to save the rink on Change.org. However, only 848 people signed and looked like a failure to save the rink. It has been already sold to the BBQ restaurant.
UPDATE--
The Normad BBQ Restaurant went out of business. Now it is 717 ARMORY. It is an indoor gun and archery range.
