Google Map.
Google Images and Yelp skaters. See how nice and soft Mauve carpet it was? Almost velvet. I remember this popular mauve carpet at many places in the 1990s including my old apartment building where I used to live and my old church as well before they both renovated to more updated colors.

This rink, Sportsworld Skate Center was at 2505 Pulaski Highway, Columbia, Tennessee. This rink opened in 1989 with very much late 1980s-early 1990s look with Moody Mauve Carpet on rails with a little newer carpet that is made for black light. This very 1990ish style rink had its run. The building was built in 1988 which confirmed when they opened which was in 1989. They finally closed and sold on December 18, 2017 to a fitness center. It was sold for 410,000 USD. The first time the building was sold was on October 14, 1988. This is why it was opened in early 1989 after it was renovated into a roller skating rink.
Skating Center was perhaps a nickname because of Sportsworld Skate Center was open in 1989 and ran all the way to 2017.
The Interior.
Very 1990s look thanks to Moody Mauve carpet on rails and other features. Although they had black light carpet on the floor which was a little later in 1990s or 2000s. Perhaps the whole place had Moody Mauve carpet at the time. They had American Blue shaggy carpet on the wall as it had Red paint on the wall as well.
The floor was Maple Log Cabin style format. Looks Medium to large size rink for a 28,125 SF building. Good size. I saw a photo taken in 2016 at this rink with so many skaters. Almost wall to wall. What happened to this rink after that happened? Sometimes you get so many customers come in and still be unsuccessful in financing. Why? Mismanagement or poor business planning/budget planning. Such as high bills, large bank mortgages, taxes, etc. But I do not know what the real reason for this rink to close.
It had 4 bathrooms.
The Exterior.
It was a very standard Gable roof (appeared flat but not thanks to top map view) Span Steel Truss Cinderblocks and Bricks-Walled Warehouse - like Building. The fake roof has Aluminum Roofing in Blue.
