Let not addresses fool you but it was one and same address. The South Truman Boulevard was true address. It was opened in 1977 by David Crow and ran the rink until May 24, 2014. It looked like it would have been continued because they had enough people. However, it was not.
It was a basic Flat-Roof rectangular building with a simple small canopy with wood shingles for a roof on the side corner of the building facing where the hospital is. It had white stone look with that 1970s feel to it. But it was cinder blocks and stuccos I believed.
The interior was a pleasant looking with Maple wood floor, that diamond ball with starburst disco light. Very common. And had White walls, but some Standard Light Blue walls and Standard Light Blue half-walls around the rink. It was relaxing colors and felt comfortable. I would have skated there for quite a long time because of the colors. It was very standard looking yet, functional.
There is a video on the Leader Paper website. I was unable to upload on here.
It is now a state-of-the-art new building built for the hospital.
