Two photos courtesy of Google Map. It was during Progressive Skate Park era. Noticed nice fence! That was their outdoor version of the skateboard stunt facility.
Survey map courtesy of Loop Net. Very simple CAD rendering of survey. Not complicated version.

Progressive Skate Park 1153 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA
Sparkles Roller Rink of Canton was in Canton, GA which was a franchise chain of Sparkles Roller Rinks, Inc. a Couey Family owned rinks. Then it became Progressive Skate Park which was also short before it is now a carpet retail store.
First Sparkles opened in 1981 when the building was built. Since Sparkles of Canton is found on Yelp which Yelp was established in October 2004. So, Sparkles closed sometimes AFTER 2004. Makes you wonder when. Anyone? And why they closed?
Progressive put up for sale on October 28, 2014 and sold the property on March 05, 2015 to Carpet One store.
Realty Trac showed 4 different dates of building sold. Likely the closing dates are also included. April 6,2006 for USD 950,000 and April 27, 2006 for USD 950,100. Likely it was a transfer sale for both in April. This might have been the selling that Sparkles sold to the skate park business. Unknown why this one sold September 14, 2012 for USD 835,000. Perhaps the building owner who owned the skate park sold the building, not the business in turn using as lease. Finally sold to the Carpet One franchisee on March 2, 2015 for USD 425,000. Wow, a huge price drop!
The Interior.
As for Sparkles, they had Fan layout Clear coated polyurethane or related coat on Maple hardwood floor.
Progressive totally renovated the interior to make it more plan walls, added ramps, rails, half-pipes, etc. Even some ramps off the rink. 60' wide mini-halfpipe, euro gaps, hand rails, Ledges and wedges, 15,000 sq. ft. street course perfect pyramids, flat bar box, and two 25' long benches horseshoe ditch and snowplow ramp.
The Exterior.
The building looks very common design with Hip roof appearance. Likely at the time, it was natural shingles on the building and perhaps darker tone. Maybe Earth tone. Because photos of Progressive Skate Park in Google Map was Teal Hip shingles with White walls. Could be the same as Sparkles but I am not sure. No photos!
Progressive had that look and they added an outdoor park as well that is all fenced in. Not seen or used by Sparkles back the day for sure.
