Courtesy of Loop Net. This was the bare look for a rink compared to present appearance of a bank. What was the name of the rink before the building was sold in 2003?
Both courtesy of Google Map. Note the evolution from top to bottom. First was White. It was common plain color back in the 20th Century. Then the 2000s came along, the trendy colors were Earth-tone which evidently shown with Tan (bottom) with Burlywood or close to that color. But now, the Graying of America in late 2010s showed Cold Dark Gray top part with Medium Light Cold Gray. Too bad the rink did not have any large signage on the wall like the Anstaff does. The Community Bank had small fonts.
Skatium 720 Goblin Drive, Harrison, AR
Skatium was a Latin name for skating rink which was at 720 Goblin Drive, Harrison, Arkansas. This rink was not what Google Map says it was. It was up the street a bit where there is a bank is presently located now. You saw those in photographs above.
There is no personal history regarding the rink. But detail about the building, yes. That is all was shown.
Loop Net tells me that they created the advertising on June 27, 2000 and last updated apparently sold on April 27, 2003.
The owners were John Whitson (President), Bonnie Whitson (Secretary), and Brian J. Whitson (Vice-President, Principal) when they registered on December 14, 1995 according to Biz Standing.
So, this brings to ask what was there before the Whitson family opened in 1995. Another rink?
In more recent times when that bank sold their operations center, it was selling for 1.45 Million Dollars. Another bank bought it.

The Exterior.
Free-Span Steel Truss white colored Steel-Walled Warehouse - like Building with Gable roof. They had a canopy for the front door on the right side. Totally different than what the banks have today. The renovation apparently just completed in January 2008 according to Google Map. That puts the rink out of business by 2008. No other information. Anyone know about this rink?
