Courtesy of Google Map, September 2007. Terrible film at the time. But you noticed the difference between that rink and the current rink operating at that same location.
Courtesy of Scott Anderson,Journal Times file photo. Noticed interior very minimalist with blue and white colors. Even had that UFO-isque 1950s style pendants hanging along with the traditional and popular starburst disco lights and diamond ball.
Skatetown USA, 1825 Sycamore Ave, Racine, WI
Of course, another rink with similar name. This one was in Racine, WI and it has defunct without knowing why in September 2015 according to the newspaper, The Journal Times, It was situated behind a late 1960s/early 1970s apartment building with wood siding for a roof. Anyway, the rink shown in 2007 photo of Map Google was white exterior. It was just plain looking rink. Warehouse style with gable roof.
The original interior was Standard Blue hue and White. Very minimalist overall with exterior and interior. It does appear very clean with that interior look. Exterior looked dated and very plain. It was reopened as Star Roller Rink and made better improvement exterior-wise but not seen photos of interior. I am sure it appears nice. The current owner really made it very present contemporary of Light Tan and Dark Chocolate look with Red Fonts and a Yellow Star.
