Google Map. From top to bottom, 2011 and 2015. The Family Fun Place and Roll Arena Party Zone are pictured.
Courtesy of Zillow. The previous look. You can see the mural above of the mountains which is supposed to be Smoky Mountains. Black half walls? I am not thrilled with Black. Not for the walls. The Roll Arena truly updated it with Royal Blue and made the bottom part more of.. Pewer Gray. Right photo shows one of the old names.

Another rink with the same name, Skatetown but this one was at 2801 East Broadway Avenue in Maryville, Tennessee.
I do not know which came first: Skatetown or Smokey Mountain Skate Center. Anyone? This rink also was called The Family Fun Place.
Jeff Kay owned Skatetown according to Dun & Bradstreet, Right now, it is the Allen Family that owns Roll Arena Party Zone in Maryville as well as their other rink of same name in Oliver Springs, Tennessee.
Likely Smoky Mountain Skate Center was operational before Roll Arena but after The Family Fun Place.
Zillow and Trulia said it even had ONE bedroom, FOUR baths. Hmm. Was it an apartment attached to this rink? Some rinks do that. But this one according to Zillow, it was 2 offices with a half bath for each. And the rink has 2 baths as well.
It was last sold on January 27, 2015 apparently to the current owners of Roll Arena Party Zone.
Odd that their website is down but Facebook is active.
However, I have their other website through search, Roll Arena Party Zone. Please check out their rinks and give them support! Skate local!
The Interior.
Has two offices in the same building separately from the rink business but the Rink, half baths for each and 2 bathrooms in the rink business section. This is why it says 1 bed and 4 baths. Those websites are designed to explain RESIDENTIAL, not Commercial properties.
The floor appeared to be Maple wood floor in FAN layout.
Original style in 1976, I do not know but renovated in 1994 were pretty much monochromic interior because now it is Roll Arena Party Zone with colorful walls. It has that popular multi section walls dividing by the truss posts on the walls colorful. One would blue, other pink, other other colors, etc. Many updated rink has that modern look.
