Skatesville USA 211 Upper River Road, Gallipolis, OH. Skate rental and pro-shop. As for the pro-shop, I do not see any advertising and not see any merchandise for sale. I see mostly rentals. I can see the issue with this flaw. It is necessary to have a pro-shop as independent location in the rink where skaters can see in the open. Not hidden behind this wall. That part is excellent for rentals to make it look less clutter. I love the ribbed concrete blocks though. Similar to a rink in Michigan that is still operational that has same block style. Oh one more thing, it is poorly lit above the rental because of darkness up top that no one can see the sign that well. I can see it but can many others? I am sure it was an effort. Needed to have lights for this. The sign looks and feels like something out of a cheap low budget TV show. No offense but it is bit tacky. Source: Facebook Skatesville USA.

Skatesville USA 211 Upper River Road, Gallipolis, OH. Beautiful rink. It is Concrete. Well shining floor though. I love the colors. Is that light wrapped around the rink floor or due to black lights that reflex the lights to appear lighted up? Source: Facebook Skatesville USA.

Skatesville USA 2200 Eastern Ave., Gallipolis, Ohio and later at 211 Upper River Road, Gallipolis, Ohio. Was it a relocation or was it another Skatesville USA in the same town? Some rink operators would open more than one in the same town using the same name. Kind of like you have all the fast food chains franchises in your town, bunch of this same brand in your town. Or was it relocated? Likely relocated. It is about 3000 feet away, just a few doors down cross the street on Route 7. Eastern Ave is the same as Route 7 if you want to compare them on the map. When you do, zoom out and you will find the other location. First find those two then you can compare.
Clearly the first one was the 2200 Eastern Ave because it was smaller and you can tell now that it became Sears Hometown store, a small version of the standard department store we all just knew called Sears/Sears, Roebuck, & Co. during 20th Century and first two decades of 20th Century till Eddie shuttered the brand very slowly.
Anyway, It may have been a rebuilt entirely with the Sears store. I could not find information.
The original rink was perhaps way too small and it was necessary to relocate
However, the relocated looked more realistic size of a roller rink that was a much bigger building. Now it is a gymnastics or cheerleading center.

The Interior.
2200 Eastern Ave location: N/A.
211 Upper River Road location: It is a beautiful rink. In more recent times, it is beautiful. It has colors on the wall each section is different color. Many rinks did this mostly around 2000s and 2010s especially in early 2010s. It was popular trend that way.
What else they had was beautiful Brick half-walls. Especially in corners and one end where the eating area was. Bit of nostalgia feel to modernism of 2010s and contemporary of the 1970s mixed together. Concrete floor was common in 1970s. So, was this rink opened in 1970s or 1980s?
They even have a fake Tiffany pendant lamps with stain glass and lead above which was the 1970s which still looking from that decade in 2010s! The walls around the rink are in several colors and not in perfect order of pattern.
I love the Blue lights wrapped around the edge of the rink on the bottom of the rails. Beautiful design. The best design I ever seen was a dead rink in California where it is now Alex Trebek Center. This I would say second best. Are there any rinks today still operational with lights around the rink on the floor or walls? Good question.
The Exterior.
2200 Eastern Ave location: If it was true that it was that same building that Sears is now located, was the rink also in that same building or was it a previous building before it became a Sears store. What I mean is that it may have torn down and Sears bought the property and rebuilt it after the rink was relocated. TBC.
211 Upper River Road location: From seeing Google Maps, it showed Flat roofed with long extended canopy end to end in the front. It sits behind two restaurants. Originally there was a Ponderosa Steak House and Buffett and Captain D. Now Buffalo Wings replaced closed Ponderosa with a new built up. The seafood restaurant remains. I can see a problem with this was when I saw from the road, Eastern Avenue, the skating rink was quite hidden behind those restaurants. That is a drawback when you want to open a business with a restaurant or two or even banks or whatever freestanding in front of you, you are going to be wiped out because people would not noticed unless you have a very good sign. I saw there were no signs till one I found it said "Cheering" so I figured that was the one right by the long entrance road between Ponderosa/Buffalo Wings and the former NAPA store that used to be there.
