Google Map. The address showed differently on Google Map. According to Grandview website, this cleaning place has the same address. That website proved that it was Skateland. The appearance looked more like a Skate Country Lockhead design. And look next one which is also a Google Map. Surprise! The design was quite different. It had that wood shingles for roof canopy. And they had another one toward to the right. But in the middle! It sported that Green-Grey color on upper part with Orange fonts and doors. Very interesting!
Skateland USA, 13613 South 71 Hwy, Grandview, MO
Skateland USA was a rink in Grandview, Missouri. It did not leave much information at all. No photos, nothing. However, I was able to get some other information. It went out of business in 1999 because of a cleaning company had a grand opening at the same location in April 20, 2010. So, apparently the rink likely closed at the end of 2009. It is questionable. It is odd that no information was found on the internet that everyone says internet has every information. Not true.
The rink ran by Dennis Runyan. That is about it.
Truly missing everything I need here. Need the Unsolved Mysteries team here to investigate! Haha.
The building was a flat roof building with the front facing both a street and a highway. The exits are nearby. It may have had a different appearances on the outside but now, it is Bleach White with Standard Blue with a cleaning company name on it. It looked pretty deserted when Google Map took picture of the area on street view. Perhaps it was taken on a weekend. But.. no company vans. They are still in business-- I meant the cleaners. The original rink had Orange fonts and doors while upper half had that Dusty Green-Grey color. Was aiming toward to Green and Orange. Needs better photos, and other information.
Bizapedia listed the Pride Cleaners and another company in 2008 that was applied 11 times! Same date. August 2008. Maybe the rink closed up before 2008. Need your help! Pride Cleaners had this building since the rink closed. It is grand-reopening this April 2020.
There is no further information on that regard.
