Courtesy of Scott Cernik/Cernik Family. This was exactly how it looked when it was operational. It even had wood studs inside the arches on the wall that the later years did not have that (see below).
Both courtesy of Loopnet. Taken in 2005.
Courtesy of GM. Sadly now its a plaza with several businesses and you can even see in background on the right, more businesses are added compared to the old Loopnet photo taken in 2005. Big changes!
All old photos courtesy of Scott Cernik/Cernik Family. All taken around in 1981. Yes, that 1970s hot look. Burnet Orange and Rust Red. Oh.. I sure miss the 70s! Many places had that look. Those spool seats, the plaid pants Frank wore. And that man sitting by the rail on the rink was the Late Frank Cernik taken in around 1981 according to Scott Cernik. They were very creative having a step up railed around tables and chairs as if it was a spectatar seating to watch skaters skate from up there. Truly genius concept that no rinks dare to do this this day. Sports-O-Rama did not have at the rink side but they did for their Dance Center. I am sure many operators visited this location as well and got ideas. That seating area did not catch on though. But the spool seating popular, the UFO Danish style pendants, and that unique rare cylinder pendants with flower-like cutouts on it. Very 1970s.
This rink would have been tops number one in unique design competing with a rink from Florida that had very trendy look interior. Will add that link for you to compare.

Skateland Skate Center 4151 South 84th St, Omaha, NE
Skateland-Laser Storm 4151 South 84th St, Omaha, NE
Skateland Playdaze 4151 S 84th St, Omaha, NE
Skateland 4151 S 84th St, Omaha, NE
Skateland Plaza 4151 S 84th St, Omaha, NE
Bit confusing right? All of it has Skateland as part of the name. Only one just by itself. There was once as Skateland-Laser Storm and the other time as Skateland Playdaze. Also full name as Skateland Skate Center. Even Skateland Plaza. Skateland is long gone but the name of the plaza is none other than Skateland Plaza according to Loopnet. Pretty neat. Like Empire and maybe other rinks had their names stayed on beyond their closures as rinks.
Seemly I could not get information as about the rinks but I do as businesses at that plaza. Apparently one of the rinks.. Perhaps likely the Skateland one. Not any added names. Just Skateland. and Skateland was opened in 1981 because that was when it was built. Closure? Unknown.

The Exterior.
Free Span Steel themed stucco Spanish Revival Contemporary Building. It had sort of Off-White Stucco with a few arches for the look. The main one at the front door corner was larger, and had glass all around. This style was common in 1970s and 1980s. I have seen a business had that look downtown Syracuse, NY and several other businesses even in shopping malls stores. I think a Tuxedo store had that look. Apparently that was 1970s Spanish Revival Contemporary look. Not the same Spanish look and feel that revitalized in 2000s and 2010s. It has more Southwest US Spanish theme. Although this was in middle of the country--Nebraska!
It was clearly cinder-block built with stucco plastered on the building.
It was sold and converted to Skateland Plaza shopping plaza as you can see in the photo to compare. It is sad that the rink is gone but skaters should rejoice that the owner kept the name of the plaza after the old rink. Nice of the owners. They removed the arches on the front side and rebuilt into businesses with garage doors, doors, and windows for each one of them.
