Photo courtesy of Cernik Family. This is a typical sign found at most Skateland Skate Centers rinks and this perhaps was one of them at this Bellevue location.
Courtesy of GM. Unfortunately at the time in 2007, Google Map was in infancy in vehicle cam. I know. Poor quality. You should see the new ones today are much sharper and better. Unfortunately we could not do anything. In this one, while as Skateland, the sign has changed (and I could not get it clear. It was all blurred.) Also notice the exterior wall had two tones- A Black or Dark Blue stripe horizontally as the rest of the building likely Off-White/Greyish.
Google Map. Noticed it was painted over and as Skateland. Strange, the Loop Net website has a photo of Skate City, not Skateland because I can see the small sign above on Hip roof. And the paint at the time was Dark Red stripes vertically, not horizontally.

Skateland was the second Skateland that Frank Bernard Cernik opened. This one was being in Bellevue, Nebraska. it was also called Skateland Bellevue and to the company, it was called Skateland Skate Center #2. But they sold it and now under the company that owns a few franchises called Skate City. Skateland-Bounce House perhaps was the last time such a name was used before it was completely sold to the Skate City.
It was listed as for sale on Loopnet but the date is unknown for that.
The Interior.
I have no idea what it was like but if it was common appearance at all Skateland, you would have known the look was quite similar. Unfortunately I do not have photos of that and there are tons of interior photos of Skate City rink. They have very updated look presently (see their website, Facebook, etc for their photos if desired). The updated floor is painted Snow-White and has hockey guard windows between the rink and the snackbar for their Roller Hockey leagues. But not on the side of the rink. They made it more for Roller Hockey although it was open for sessions and their Roller Derby team there.
The Exterior.
The original appearance is unknown but according on Loopnet, it was a White warehouse-like building with the out-built extension which makes this location looked more like a Skate Country design. The out-built has that Hip roof design with bricks. But it was a Frank Cernick design because it was somewhat similar to his Spanish looking rink buildings.
The poor quality Google Map showed the exterior in 2007 has the rink with black stripe horizontally. The Skate City has changed by painting the Americana Red and Blue colors vertically where the pillars are.
