Skate World 1209 South George Nigh Expressway, McAlester, OK. The changing of the guards. First it was Skate World as seen in first photo then in 2013, the owners of The Roller Dome bought this and quickly painted over the old mural. This is why I could not get a nice one than Google did in take the photo in 2008. The paint over occurred that same year as the 2013 photo. Bottom is 2019 photo. Before 2013, Skate World ruled on 1209 South George Nigh Expressway in McAlester, Oklahoma. In 2013, it became Route 69 Roller Dome which is currently the same as The Roller Dome - McAlester.
I could not get much information about Skate World and sold the rink to the owners of Route 69 Roller Dome on July 19, 2013. Skate World only started in 2007! Not too long.
The Interior.
It has standard RollerCourt flooring the same with the other locations. The now closed Stillwater location and the current Sapulpa location.
The Exterior.
It is Sand Colored Free-Span Steel Trusses Steel-Walled Warehouse - like Building with a roof that is a Gable. They also have a detached 2 door garage on the property.
