Blueprint not to scale. Apparently the rink may have been 100' x 210' Now, that is big!

Skate Trak 3520 Us Highway 50 E., Carson City, NV
Skate Trak was once a roller rink at 3520 US Highway 50 East, Carson City, Nevada that was housed in a very odd looking building. I will not need to explain because you will see it is quite an odd shaped building.
It was registered on October 7, 1994 according to three different sources and they apparently opened that in the year 1996 because they wanted to built a new complex. I do not have any information on when it went out of business and the Goodwill store moved in. Currently as of 21 February 2021 when I made this profile, it is for sale for 3.35 Million USD. Woo. Way too much. It may not function as a rink because of the hefty cost apparently. Maybe an entertainment center would be more suited if there is one party interested. It is going to be listed in the Rink for Sale because it was a former rink, Skate Trak. That is how it was spelled as well.
I believed Skate Trak was short lived.
The Interior.
The 30,985 SF interior was very large and large enough to have a large rink and added activities. Sorry no interior photos of the rink. Anyone? It had two floors actually. The rink was on first and only floor and the space up front was a loft like in the photo but it was really a mezzanine. The DJ booth was high up that if you want a music request, you had to shout loud to the DJ or someone in the booth your request. The front part looked very NYC style loft with exposed pipes for HVAC system in more recent times. The floor for the rink was unknown. The 7,000 SF extra space were for those 2 detached buildings in the rear and they were storage buildings.
The Exterior.
One of the most oddest looking building design I ever seen. like those two movie critics who used their thumbs for up or down, I can give two thumb downs. Horrible looking. It looks like a rounded glass thing that was stolen off of the 49th Galleria Entertainment Center from another state... and was placed there and chopped off the top part and the way the arch was for that window design on that cylinder part of the front and the arches on the side up front. Totally tacky. No offense architect for what you have done. Did you do that or the owner did that?
What I like about the front was largely Dark Tinted Glass for windows and they had to because of the Nevada desert heat. I love those dark windows.
It was originally with 2 toned Grays-- White and Light Grays. But with Goodwill, they added their Goodwill Blue stripes on the building.
