Skate Spot 4317 Johnston St, Lafayette, LA
Skate Spot was where now the Planet Ice Rink is located at 4317 Johnston St in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Strangely in Manta, it was saying it is newly registered but they are out of business in 2010. I think Manta made a mistake. OR someone did. Because Planet Ice Rink looks like they are still operational. No pictures available, nothing but just a dis-attached building in the back of the plaza they are in. Yelllow Pages mentioned they are closed. So was Four Square. I got confirmation from Planet Ice Rink telling me that Skate Spot closed in 2010.
I do not know original color because now it shows Ice Blue and Ocean Blue trims on this building which clearly makes sense it is related to water--ice.
The Interior.
N/A.
The Exterior.
Originial is unknown but as Planet Ice Rink which is STILL operational, has Ice Blue and Ocean Blue trim, it is a Free-Span Steel Truss Steel-Walled Warehouse-like storefront Building. This building really stood out separating from the rest of the plaza that are sports related and fitness related. So, this is unique that the entire plaza is made for health and fitness. They have the ice rink, fitness equipment store, sporting goods, and a dance academy, etc.
