The two rinks are the same. Just a variation of name. Actually official name is the second one, The Skate Place, Inc. when they registered it. It was on 266 County Road 301 in Oxford, Mississippi.
Manta said they began in 1998. It's demise is unknown. Anyone? Google Search said it is permanently closed. It is now OC, which stands for Oxford Cheer. A private cheerleading school and practice center. Looks like changes occurred in 2015 because of Google Map showed in 2015 as The Skate Place but in 2016, it showed as Oxford Cheer & Tumble.
The sign font was a classic. From 1970s Groovin' font. Kind of like Balloon but it is larger on bottom for each letter.

Hard to see because of a hill blocking from the road. They covered up that way naturally instead of a fence. They apparently had Tan colored Free-Span Steel Truss Steel-Walled Warehouse - like Building with Gable roof.
