Skate Palace 1807 Bankhead Highway, Winfield, AL
Skate Palace was a rink that closed was on 1807 Bankhead Highway in Winfield, Alabama. It was first opened in 1990 according to Manta. It was owned by Odie Hallmark.
After it closed around 2008, it became Innerchange Church Winfield but that church folded a few years later as well. Now something else is there. Looks pretty deserted there and so are other building surrounding as well. Really mysterious for that area.
The Interior.
N/A.
The Exterior.
Free-Span Steel Truss Steel-Walled Warehouse Building with Gable roof. The big Dark Red fonts for Skate Palace was on the exterior wall facing the road. It was built behind another Gable building which was partial blocking the view on the road. It sits right by the hill with a forest behind it. Nice area though. It was set away from the road for reduction of noise and ample parking spaces. Look like they were going to add more building or something to the right of the building from the road. But never did. The color of the wall was exact the same through all three occupants- Skate Palace, the Innerchange Church and a current occupant I could not tell. It was Light Tan color walls.
