A goof up on Manta, a business information website. Can you see the mistake? Haha. OK, you saw the final line says Employees Over 10,000 of them! Hahha.
Google Maps. Top- 2015, bottom 2019. Which color you like? Both are great but I always prefer the Green. I think I understand why they painted. To separate from every other places that has the exact same green color. Forest Green. Or that Lincoln Log Forest Green because not only the rink had that green, so was the former shooting range place in immediately right of the photo sharing the same parking lot with them. Also I panned around the stret and I saw at least 2 or 3 more places with the exact same green! Everyone loved that green! Popular color back in 1980s with that green, right? But I understand JCFSC needed to change color to separate themselves from the rest of that neighborhood. They all shared the same address number according to Loop Net. (Not shown since its not about the rink).

Before I can go on with this profile, I got to tell you it is so funny on Manta. It explained about this rink, Skate Inn The Next Generation of Johnson City, Tennessee. Ok, Manta said the number of employees was 10,000 employees! That would equal to the largest theme park in the world in Orlando, Florida. Haha. I laughed so hard! Oh man! 10,000 workers!? I assure you I am being honest here.
Look at the photo above.
Mark Wilson owned Skate Inn The Next Generation. This rink has very unusual name which in fact reminded you of some TV shows that has the word, "The Next Generation" such as Star Trek The Next Generation which was years later after Captain Kirk chaired the Enterprise. There was Degrassi The Next Generation which took about 20 years after the original from 1980s. Two were of a few examples.
I do not have much information but with the Johnson City Family Skate Center, it sounded like a real awesome small but cozy rink that they have now.
It is located near East Tennessee State University and Veterans Administration,.a local hospital for veterans.
I highly recommend you go skating in this small cute cozy rink in Johnson City. Check their Facebook and Website.
The Interior.
I do not have information regarding the size of the rink and building. It does appear small. Perhaps in a range of 10,000 SF building. They have Blue Concrete floor.
The Exterior.
It shows a Columns Steel Truss Steel sheets-Walled Warehouse - like Building. Almost a Basilica style. You would have to step up the stairs to enter the rink. There is no ramps for ADA accessibility.
