Skate Fever, 45 Goble Place, Bronx, NY
Skate Fever was a roller rink perhaps was connected to Disco Fever but I could not find any solid information regarding that to be true.
Also not to be confused with Disco Fever Night Club in the same borough in Greater New York City area. However, it looks similar naming.
I do not have much information regarding to the rink except for the dates of establishing the business however, failed to mentioned when it was dissolved.
There are no photos of the rink itself. It was closed likely in maybe 1980s or 1990s. Presently, it looked all deserted according to Google Map. Cross the street is a public school. Oddly the address number is not listed on Google Map but I gave an educated guess of where it was located. However, I found the front and the front is facing Jerome Ave. However, according to a source who told me it is NOT jerome Ave. I looked on TOP view of the map, it showed 3 different sections of the building and I make educated guess that it was a MIDDLE section of the whole building where the rink was. Not the one facing Jerome Ave. The front is currently an automobile dealership.
The middle has no business name. Must be the dealer took over the entire building. More information is needed.
And photos to prove it.
