Silver Skate Roller Rink Fremont, OH. Actual sticker, not a reproduction you would find a lot on the net. Source: Amazon.

Silver Skate Roller Rink Fremont, OH. Now this is a reproduction because I personally had to fill each point of this diamond shaped sticker. The original was missing all corners and cut off the S and the S on top. I did my best though. Not perfect. Source: eBay. Digitally remastered by Dead-Rinks (filled in the rest of the corners of the diamond that was chopped off on eBay. Second of all, clean up).
Silver Skate Roller Rink Fremont, OH
There was once a Silver Skate Roller Rink in Fremont, Ohio. I have no idea where exactly it was and I could not find information but found many links to stickers for sale and a lot had huge watermark on it. It does not make any sense. However, a Copyright book published by the US Government can tell a story when they established the rink. It was granted a copyright on August 21, 1941. That is why reproducers of the sticker and items say 1941. The one you saw on eBay is watermarked. I have one that is not watermarked. And a REAL sticker as it appeared back the day. It is not the same as the reproduction so please, use common sense when you want to collect real items!
Since it was granted a Copyright in August 1941, that may have given that summer of 1941 the time frame for the rink to open. Or in the Fall. Just before World War II (December 7, 1941 when the Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Axis Japan and the Congress approved US entry into the long hard war).
I believe the War overseas since 1939 shadowed the rink's premiere and not much known about the rink at all. That is what is sad when something else interrupt. Like with COVID, War on Terror, 9/11, 9/11 (2012), etc.
So, nothing else I can go along with regarding this rink. I believe it was a sleeper. One of those unheard of.
