Google Map. This photo does not do any good because the signage did not say what rink name and second of all, it failed to zoom any bigger for me to see the name. I think it has NO name at all. It just have movie theater-like marquee with schedule times on it next to a big black rectangle.

Silver Circle Skate East, 5413 Hickory Street, Panama City, FL
This skating rink was in Panama City, Florida where skaters skated with much passion that they even have a reunion as seen on Facebook. This rink opened in 1977 but the closure was not available. It appeared to be in 2010 or 2011 when they closed shop and it became Skaters Choice Skating Rink. That rink according to their website is still in operations. But this one is for Silver Circle Skate East that is closed and sold.
There is not much to go on with this rink because photos out there are for Skaters Choice Rink. However, only I can see are reunion photos and maybe a couple of photos of the old rink are found.
With that old 1980s photos, it sported the then popular late 1970s-early 1980s colors of brown, orange, yellow and Ivory colors combination. It was on jackets as I remembered, a certain snowmobile model had those colors, and some automobiles as well as van conversions.
This rink had gable roof warehouse look with aluminum siding based on the Skaters Choice photo.
According to Yelp about the business, it sounded like it was rebooted by same management, Chris F.
It says it was called Skaters Choice since 1977. That is a conflict due to the name Silver City Skates East. You have to state the original name. And actually state when the NAME of the company since. If it is rebooted, you have to start over with that year of start up. Skaters Choice is still in operational.
Do not be confused with the other rink by the same name on 333 14th Street, Panama City, FL. It might be the West. (one another sets of rinks of same name also have East and West which was Empire Skates in Onondaga County (East in DeWitt and West in Baldwinsville) NY.
Not much to say until photos are provided.
