First was Shaler Skateland and later, it became Romp N Roll which is also known as Romp n' Roll in Glenshaw, Pennsylvania. They were on 1661 East Sutter Road. They both are not in business anymore, sadly.
Shaler Skateland first opened in 1982 by Larry R Platt Etal but he sold it in November 1994. According to Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, it was Wednesday 23 November 1994 and it became Romp N Roll roller rink. I believe a Romp N Roll's sister rink is still operational in Conyers, PA.
Lou Georges was the operator of Romp N Roll until 2015.
The new owners want to turn the facility into a warehouse and showroom after the rink was sold in 2016.
Their last skate was on Wednesday 30 November 2016.
The Interior.
The interior looks clean and updated. I love that Square disco lights that are made with the same you have Starburst lights elsewhere. This one was attempting to be different and creative. I congratulates them on that. I am not sure about the original operator had set up. But for Romp N Roll, that was the look.
The floor was Non-painted, Polyurethane coated, Maple hardwood floor with FAN layout pattern.
It is nice of the current tenant/owner of the property kept the rink floor and some lightings inside according to the Pittsburgh Business Journal.
The Exterior.
I love the 1980s look for this type of building. Half wall are Red Bricks and the upper half are Steel Walled making the place look semi-warehouse, semi-store front. In its last few years, it showed it had blue color on the steel sheets. The place looked Americana because of the colors.
It is a Free-Span Steel Trusses Red Bricks and Steel - Walled Warehouse - like Building with Gabled Roof.

All sources are shown on each page. All opinions and statements of mine are also stated and are for purely educational entertainment only.
Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
