Photo courtesy of Lost Madison on Facebook. Only photo of rink I could find. Sorry no interior. And no original location. This location shown here is from the North Stoughton Road.

Rollerdrome, 1125 Packars Ave, Madison, WI (Original location)
Rollerdrome, 1725 N Stoughton Rd, Madison, WI (Final location)
As the paid commercial advertisement for the rink it had fun jingle music and song, "R-O=L, L-E-R, D-R-O-M-E, Rollerdrome, fun on wheels, Rollerdrome, it’s the any weather get together for the fam-i-ly, Rol, ler, drome." This fun sounding rink was unique and classic sounding. Originally, It was in Madison WI from 1949 at 1125 Packers Avenue. Later, the Rollerdrome opened on North Stoughton Road however, I do not have the date of opening at that location. But it closed. I do not have the date of closure though.
I have no photographs of the original location on Packars Avenue however, only one photograph of the North Stroughton Road location. And that was a Little Boy Blue sheet metal warehouse building with a wave form name, Rollerdrome.
There is no photograph of its mascot back then. However, only ended up on a reunion cake. It has that character with an open smile skate with crooked wheels on with a hat on. Also had supersized eyes as well. Very cartoonish of that mascot.
It appeared to have wooden floor according to old 80s grainy photographs of skaters there. It was not taken very well or the chemical degrading after 40 years.
So, that leaves out those photographs to be posted here. Only the cake and the building that Lost Madison Museum had posted on Facebook.
