Roller Sports World Bangsar Shopping Center, 4th Floor, 285, Jalan Maarof, Bukit Bandaraya, Kuala Lumpur. MY
Roller Sports World was on the 4th floor in a shopping mall called Bangsar Shopping Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It closed some time ago and now a Chinese restaurant took over the entire space of the rink. And I believe also another restaurant called A Food Tree as well which is sandwiched between Jungle Gym Playground Center and this Chinese restaurant, Ruyi.
The building is a shopping mall that is 4 stories high. Entertainment was confined to 4th floor. Unfortunately they are not anymore. Just the Jungle Gym.

Rarely full [although small rink as I can see], except on some weekends, this roller skating rink has flooring that provides a softer landing. Downside is, the rink lacks the usual hand rails that your child can steady himself with. But with all that space, he doesn’t have to worry about bumping into people or feeling embarrassed (as kids can do) when he takes a bad tumble. Helmets are not mandatory but we always bring our biking helmets along to avoid the rental costs. There are no roller skating trainers/teachers [skate mates] on hand but I’ve seen the staff help out kids who have a difficult time finding their bearings on blades. You can use your own skates, too. Have a coffee at the café opposite. Next door is the Jungle Gym, in case you have toddlers in tow.
Jungle Gym is owned by the same company as the Roller Sports World, Only World Group.
Only World Group, a huge entertainment company which owns several water theme parks, Jungle Gym, and this rink, Roller Sports World. The company still operating but the rink is not. Their website has not yet updated and I am glad to capture their photos and website page. It is seen above.
The Interior.
This is one of the most modern and beautiful skating rink facility in the world. It is unbelievable. Of course, it did have Roller Court flooring that most die-hard Skaters hated. But because of this, they were able to beautifully design the layout of the floor! Wow, no rinks has done this! Too bad they went out of business! Mostly are White tiles but they had bright soft colored squares. Really softened and giving it a Retro-1970s Contemporary-Futuristic feel to it. It truly brightened up the rink. The ceiling lights all are shaped organic like a spinner would be shaped. Three pointed curved light. All were customized lights. No US rinks has those kind of lights. Are you listening, Americans? This was awesome. Too bad the rink closed. I would still award them one of the best 21st Century feel to a rink. They revolutionized the 21st Century feel to the rink I must say. Some of those lights can be changed to different colors. I noticed it does appear to be LED lights because of its brightness.
Those brightness matched well with those rink floor colors with Arctic Green and Deere Yellow. Reason I said that because John Deere Green is true green as Arctic Green has a more yellow hue and slight white hue in the mix similar to Arctic Cat snowmobile brand. They had their Roller Court with many different shapes.
What else interested was that they had gigantic smiley faces on the wall. Different face expressions.
What more interesting was that they had tall plexiglass shield normally you find in a hockey rink to keep the puck out. Well, they have it from the floor up. In a photo you would not see that yellow base board.
This concept had right idea to come up with awesome theme, feel, and comfort. Although the plastic walls around the rink make it feels less connection unless That rink had other activities including such as maybe a mini roller hockey or a kick ball activity or something during non-skating hours.
The Exterior.
Basically this was at a shopping mall. I will describe the mall.
