Roller Magic, 2929 Keim Ln., Nampa, ID
Water Magic, 2929 Keim Lane, Nampa, ID
This was a one-and-half part of an entertainment center. The other part was Water Magic, an indoor water theme park with slides. You can see in the photo of a water slide peaking outside of a tower of this building where they housed the water slide.
This profile explains both sections.
It was established in January 9, 1986 and opened shortly after in 1986 but I do not have dates of closure of both sections of the business. Did they both closed for good or one closed and later other closed.
Reason I asked is that I could not find the location of both businesses in the Google Map. It pointed to a dead end road right by the highway. That road, Keim Lane was found to have a former trucking dealership and the other side some parking lot and a huge multi-building millwork company. Where was the building? Did it burn down or demolished? Anyone?
The Facebook page really showed the building. It has a menu-like schedule above the black-n-white photo of the Roller Magic and Water Magic. The photos are in good quality back in late 1980s! No grainy pictures! And my, they have beautiful uniforms for speed team. I think they were speed team by the way it looked with uniform, the numbers on their pants, and the type of skates made for speed. And yeah, that Feathered hairdos on the girls. And mustache were in the "In" trend back then.
I love the variant of blues in on their uniforms and the wall matching to it. However, that is odd to have stick people on the the walls The logo was truly very 1970s flair. Many things feels 1970s in 1980s!
I like to know when it first open and closed for good. Anybody? And the photos of interior and COLOR photo of exterior.
