Photo courtesy of a Qype User on Yelp. Notice the wood floor? Quite different than standard 2 by 4 studs. This is perhaps 2 by 12 inches (or maybe more because of the skaters' feet so the length might be more than a foot.
Bottom two photos courtesy of Roller Disco at Renaissance Rooms. Very much of a night club feel for a roller rink! I think some nights they do dance and others skate. But they are closed for good.
Roller Disco at Renaissance Rooms, Miles Street, Arches, Vauxhall & Oval, London, England, UK
This rink had a very unusual name. It has been closed. Only one information regarding that was closed. From the look of a couple of photos, it showed it has maple wood wide planks floor. It had two skating rinks. This location had brought out many cosplay and 1970s themed skaters dressed out loud with such as loud pink socking, or pink mini skirt, colorful sparkling t-shirts, or dress anything else as well.
They had two rinks because one floor for faster skaters and another for slower. Practice floor? Who knows.
It was geared for adults because it had four alcohol beverage served bars with two rinks. I do not know and there are no other information regarding that except for it was a roller night club. Similar to the one that is active in Staten Island in New York City.
There is no information regarding why it was closed. It was very colorful with quite a bit of discolights there. Apparently the theme was Disco.
This rink was truly very unique and true night club roller rink because of the interior style that had posh chairs and couches, and diamond chandlers hanging and mirrors. Please see photo. That reminded me of a night club, Country Club (Defunct) in DeWitt, NY off Erie Boulevard East (Demolished).
