A damaged sticker. I revealed because of a guy was holding it in his fingers on eBay. It would be difficult for me to make it look brand new so I leave as it is until another one shows up. This is why I do not trust eBay and Amazon sellers.
Roll-O-Rena US Highway 54, 6427 E Kellogg, Wichita, KS
This rink, Roll-O-Rena was on 6427 East Kellogg in Wichita, Kansas. This rink was first registered in August 23,1948. This rink was founded and operated by Lawrence E. Curfman. He may have opened the rink that fall of 1948.
It was a short lived rink because according to Bizapedia, at the same address, they showed 5 businesses were at that same address from 1951 to 1964 and I can see on Google Map, it became a car dealership.. er no, MANY car dealerships came and went during 2010s and they are no longer dealerships there and currently a electric bicycle dealership and a fitness center in a plaza where the dealers used to be at. Even next door is a dealer and perhaps they did took over that spot for a time.
Now, the sad part.. this rink, Roll-O-Rena was short lived from 1948 to 1951. Three years. The 1951 record it showed it was a construction company housed there on same address. Having said, likehood of finding photos is one to zero.
Anyone know more about this rink, please let us know! And photos too!

The Exterior.
If that was the same building you see on Google Map and Historic Map websites, it is the building in the back of the property away from ever expanding road. In early 1940s map, it showed 2 lane road. Then in 1950, increased to 3 or 4 lanes road. In later years, they expanded and turned into 2 separate roads parallel together. The Kellogg and the US 400 Highway making it 8 lanes wide! If that was the case, then it has flat roof and the length of the rink also parallel with Kellogg/US-400. The admission door would have been on either left or right side of the building. This is all educational guess by observation of all maps. The parking lot became a dealership lot which now is empty.
The original appearance is unknown.
