Courtesy of Route 61 Roller Rink. Uh oh! The Scream skates here! I thought I saw Honey Boo Boo at another rink...(not kidding here). Anyway, no, just a kid dressed for Halloween wearing the Scream costume.
Courtesy of Route 61 Roller Dome. Ah, did Josh Gates of Destination Truth/Expedition Unknown find this? Ha, no, this 90 years old or so rink is still rolling for skaters for this long time.
Courtesy of Route 61 Roller Dome. I thought that was where Arctic Cat Snowmobiles dealership is. Sorry my mistake! Haha. No, its the current rink, Route 61 Roller Dome where other rinks used to operate before the day in 20th Century.
Unknown name of Roller Rink 102 Central Ave, Grant, NE
Rock-N-Roller 102 Central Ave, Grant, NE
Six Aces Roller Rink 102 Central Ave, Grant, NE
Route 61 Roller Dome 102 Central Ave, Grant, NE
Before the current rink, Six Aces Roller Rink and Rock-N-Roller were in the same location in Grant, Nebraska. The Six Acres Roller Rink opened in 1987. The current rink, Route 61 Roller Dome opened in 2015. The Rock-N-Roller may have been operated for a time before Six Aces and the current operating Route 61 Roller Dome. I did some math and hope this is correct based on Manta. This would means 1938 that Rock-N-Roller first opened. Rock-N-Roll was not a term until 1950s and played by the likes of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, Elvis, and among others. If that is the case, this means another rink name before 1950s. Any one know?
Route 61 Roller Dome is a very unique name and almost could have been named as Route 66 to mention as the Mother Road fans love to travel for entertainment of history.
Rock-N-Roller--
The Interior.
Interior is unknown but same building throughout the years as other rinks brand names/owner have used. The ceiling was clearly Arched-Curved but no foam ceiling panels. At least not till later on.
The Exterior.
I have no idea what color or colors it was for the original rink however, it has that classic look which looked 1930s Arched-Curved building with cinderblocks built. It was built on outskirts of the town. Still is outskirts.
They have "steps" roof-line on the front and back to hide the curved roof. It was common of its day to have that classic look before streamlined which was already in vogue at the time.
Skaters, please support Route 61 Roller Dome to continue operating their rink! Thank you!

Six Aces Roller Rink-
The Interior.
The interior was changed under this rink generation from the older rink. However, I am sure they changed again throughout Six Aces generation. From what I seen. It retains panel ceiling that is arched. Tube lighting, some of the walls bit chaotic but function as reflexive when turned on black lights. Rather darkness inside and the Greying of America. It has Grey walls with reflexive paints that looked like it was not filled with second coat. It appeared it needed second coat however, if that is art, this is unique with having "faded" paint to represents a function of a blend or softly on Grey. In another word, I love their concept with this. This kind of painting is quite similar to Simic Roller Rink in another town in the same state. This continue with Route 61 Roller Dome.
The Exterior.
I have no idea what it was like on the outside but looked very sun-bleached and faded paint before the Route 61 owners changed to Dark Cold Grey #90 would look like with bright Neon Green color to show in reflexion for automotive drivers to see where the rink at night time.
The Stats:

(current) Route 61 Roller Dome
The Interior.
See previous rink, it has beautiful Polyurethane coated clear coated Maple floor that is built on straight, no curves, no log, or fan. It has dark geys. Dark Grey #90 on all walls except for the rink area that has Pitch Black background with white dots which represents stars. It should help skaters to see better with reflexion. It does feel like you are in outer space. Beautiful floor, beautiful faded reflexive paints. One of a kind.
The Exterior.
They power washed and removed the old faded Red and White paints that were on the exterior cinder-block walls. Anyone has old pictures, please let me know. But the current owner painted it the same Cold Grey #90 background with Lime reflexive green for motorists to see. Arched roof with steps Roof walls.
