River City Roller Skating 815 E Campion Blvd, Prairie Du Chien, WI Noticed nature is growing tall and through the cracks of parking lot? Has to be at least a year of letting it grow through. Google took this in 2012 so may have closed that year or in 2011. Check it out online and you move toward to Pizza Hut on the right of the bottom photo and then you will see it is updated with the Gun shop located there. Source: Google.

This catchy name rink was at a forked corner between three streets actually. See map. I am blessed to have Google map circa 2012! I am sure they updating as we speak however, I am fortunate to capture image of 2012 because they did take pics of the building as of 2018 and it showed very updated cinder block building. Currently it is a gunsmith and gun sales shop plus it has an archery range in one location as one business.
The Google Map in 2012 also captured it was up for sale that year and a sign showing that there is some kind of event going on in town that year 2012 as well. Also a couple of motorhomes (motor caravans if you are not an American), They were up for sale as well. Nice RVs!
It was all plain in White walls. The Google Map showed the grass and weeds were so tall on one side as shown in 2012. Apparently it may have closed that year or the year before. Looks like they opens every September because they close for summer. On one website, it says "We are opening on Friday September 16..." It did not say what year. However, upon my research, it was 2005. September 2005. See this link here. The rink first opened in 1984. It ran just only 28 years.
The cinder block building has gable roof and it does appeared small rink. I have no interior photos unfortunately. However, I see so many links still having this rink on their tourism websites, the town websites, etc. They sure need to update and the owner needed to notify them they are out of business. All rink owners should do that. Any businesses too. Only Google search got it correctly that they are out of business.

Rinks that are closed are considered dead. Rinks that are/were sold and with new management names new name(s), the former are considered dead. Previous operating rink that closed but came back years later, are considered dead because the reopening is considered rebooted, nothing to do with the former.
As for “For Office Only” is for my reasoning and private legal reason for that.
