Rainbow Roller Rink 6537 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania was once a beloved rink by skaters. This Segmental Arch building housed the Maple Wood rink.
This now where Car Max is located, well, not quite. It is right near it. Google Map will explain better for you to see visually. See the last photo above.
The original operator was unknown but it was sold to A.P. Fisher who also owned and operated Skateland Roller Rink in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Source: The Evening News - Thurs 18 June 1942, page 11.

James V. Hoare and his wife Lois Hoare owned and operated the rink at one time according to an Obituary.
The Interior.
it had Maple Wood floor, non-painted. The interior had 2 tones color walls. White top half and Orange bottom half. It appeared to be Fan layout.
The Exterior.
It was Segmental Arch building, What really featured was that Segmental Arch for a rainbow. Of course the name. But this rainbow on exterior was all white. White Rainbow. Not the colorful ones except for some decals would have that.
