Pla-Mor Skating Rink 3434 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA
There was a rink called Pla-Mor Skating Rink that was on 3434 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They apperently was operating during the 20th Century because of the decals shown above. One likely reproduced. The other thing is.. it was confirmed closed by Skate Log website and on Pinterest, Pennsylvania History Buff who confirmed this was a dead rink.
Dates? Those decals were extremely popular from 1930s to 1950s so that sets them in around that date till sometimes in 20th Century. Long since closed.
Right now it is a Christian community center. Open Door Community Center.
Anyone know more about this was a rink at one time?
